Starting a Ripple: How Your Purchase Helps Create Big Impact

Starting a Ripple: How Your Purchase Helps Create Big Impact

It’s a big number when you stop and think about it:
50% of our profits.

Not a portion, not “up to,” not “sometimes.”
Half. Always.

When we first dreamt up once a day co., we weren’t trying to create just another product brand.
We wanted to create a ripple.
A real one.
Something that would make someone's day just a little bit lighter, a little bit brighter — even if they never told anyone, even if they were a stranger we never met.

And that ripple couldn't end with a quote or a moment.
It had to stretch further.
It had to do something in the real world.

That’s why, from the very beginning, we decided:
50% of our profits would be donated to support charities doing great things for the world.

To mental health programs.
To initiatives that help people find hope and resilience.
To causes that work, quietly and powerfully, to make sure that tomorrow is still worth waking up for.

Why 50%?

Because we believe in balance.

We believe a business can — and should — be built around giving back, not just growing margins. We believe in doing well and doing good.
And we believe that the ripple only grows stronger when everyone who touches it is part of it — from the person who scans a QR code for their daily moment of calm, to the unseen stranger whose life might be changed by a charity we support.

Half the profits stay in the business — to create more products, reach more people, spark more ripples. The other half leaves our hands completely — sent into the world to do the work it was meant to do.

It’s that simple.
And for us, it’s non-negotiable.

What It Means When You Choose once a day co.

It means you're not just buying a water bottle or a journal or a keyring.
You're choosing to be part of something bigger than a product.
You're choosing to start a ripple — one that will touch lives you'll never even know about.

And isn’t that the most beautiful kind of impact?
The kind that asks for nothing in return?

One small act.
One big impact.
Every day.

Thank you for helping us prove that kindness is still louder than the noise — and that good business can also be good for the world.
